LEAN ENGINEER

 


We are looking for a Lean Engineer in Timisoara. 

Responsible for leading and deploying the best practices in the organisation by

taking initiative to support continues improvement in various manufacturing process

by reducing the costs and improving the flow of material and setting up cycle times. 

Responsibilities:

- Function as organization’s Lean advocate.

- Provide support to QHSE & Lean Manager in deploying the Lean strategy

established at plant level.

- Engage in establishing aggressive goals for lean execution and value stream

improvement.

- Develop Lean expertise by supporting and coaching organization employees

to apply and execute Lean principles and tools.

- Acting as a liaison between teams within the organization, train, support and

actively participate in continuous improvement events with departments to

determine and eliminate waste.

- Analyse data to identifying opportunities for improvement in processes or

products, designing tools and processes that improve efficiency and

productivity while reducing waste and costs; Prioritize safety and quality in

executing assigned duties

- Conduct time studies by breaking job elements to document existing state,

develop future state in order to optimize processes

- Analyze and define processes based on spaghetti chart analysis and seven

waste forms.•Improve the plant indicators (quality, safety, cost, on time

delivery) through Lean projects.

- Follow-up upon actions, continuous improvement projects or cyclical Lean

systems deployed (GRP, CII, Gemba Walks), and ensures that deadlines are

respected.

- Performs a series of audits according to the Lean Strategy (5S, Gemba Walks,

Workplace audits, etc).

- Promotes and follows-up on the Continuous Improvement Idea Management

system.

- At the request of the direct supervisor, may perform different other tasks like

involvement in various projects, etc.


Qualifications

- Technical bachelor degree;

- Computer literacy: Microsoft Office;

- Advance competency in English language;

- Knowledge of Lean tools and methodology (Time Balance, DMAIC, 7 Type

Waste, VSM, 5S, Workcell design;

- Experience in coordination multidisciplinary project teams..
