Ideal Candidate
• University Degree (preferably Economics, Business, Finance, Accounting)
• Excellent written and spoken English is a must
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to deal with difficult and delicate situations professionally and tactfully
• Understanding of business and economical concepts
• Excellent logical skills, problem solving abilities and detail orientation
• Well organized and structured, able to prioritize and deal with multitasking
Roles and responsibilities
• Collect, collate and review the client data and clarify any inconsistencies or data gaps
• Configure tenders on an e-sourcing platform by translating the client strategy and objectives into a live tender
• Execution of tender related activities – planning, configuration, monitoring and analysis
• Proactively identify and escalate any issues that arise
• Support and guide category teams throughout the process to ensure the objectives are effectively met
• Monitor the tender submission process, if required adjust configuration during the course of the tender
• Review the proposals submitted by suppliers, execute the offer analysis, provide award recommendation, prepare (and share when required) supplier feedbacks
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with sourcing teams and relevant stakeholders to obtain necessary input, feedback and sign-off on data and documentation
• Perform various simple to complex analyses such as bid, spend analyses, data validation
